Updating the App on a BuzzTV or DS1 Box
Follow the steps below to update the Clickspace TV app:
- Exit the App
- Press the Home button on the remote to leave the app.
- When the “Signage will resume in…” prompt appears, select Cancel to stop the countdown.
- Open the Google Play Store
- Select All Apps, then open the Play Store.
- If the Play Store does not appear:
- Open the grey Settings icon.
- Go to Apps → See all apps → Show system apps.
- Scroll down and select Google Play Store.
- Sign In to the Play Store
- You may be prompted to sign in immediately. If not, navigate to the top right corner and select your account icon to sign in or switch accounts.
- If you need to, create a Google Play account on a computer first. For simplicity, we suggest using your location's email address and town name as the password. Please save these credentials in an accessible location.
- Find the Clickspace TV App
- Use the search icon on the left side of the Play Store.
- Search for “Clickspace TV” and select the app.
- Update the App
- Select Update or Update from Google Play (whichever appears).
- Wait for the app to initialize and complete the download.
- Restart the App
- Press the Back button on the remote until you return to the launcher screen.
- Select Launch, and the menu will load again.
- If Credentials Are Required
