Issue: The BudGuide app is not working correctly on an Android tablet.
Use this article when: The BudGuide app on an Android tablet is crashing, freezing, behaving unexpectedly, or not loading content.
Do not use this article if:

Steps
Try each step in order. Stop when the issue is resolved.
Step 1: Force Stop the App and Restart Your Tablet
Open Settings on your tablet.
Tap Apps (or Apps & Notifications).
Find and tap BudGuide.
Tap Force Stop and confirm if prompted.
Restart your tablet.
Open BudGuide, log in, and check if the issue is resolved.
Expected result: Issue resolved after force stopping and restarting.
Step 2: Clear the App Cache
Clearing the cache removes temporary files and does not affect your login or data.
Open Settings → Apps (or Apps & Notifications).
Tap BudGuide → Storage (or Storage & Cache).
Tap Clear Cache.
Restart your tablet, then open the app and log in.
Expected result: Cached data cleared; app functions correctly.
Step 3: Clear the App Storage (Data)
This removes all saved data. You will need to log in again afterwards.
Open Settings → Apps → BudGuide → Storage.
Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data) and confirm.
Restart your tablet, then open the app and log in.
Expected result: All stored data reset; issue resolved.
Step 4: Wipe All App Data from the Home Screen
Go to your tablet's Home Screen.
Press and hold the BudGuide app icon.
Select Wipe All Data.
Enter your tablet password when prompted.
Restart your tablet, then open the app and log in.
Expected result: App data fully wiped; issue resolved after logging back in.
Step 5: Uninstall and Reinstall the App
Open Settings → Apps → BudGuide → Uninstall.
Restart your tablet.
Open the Google Play Store and reinstall BudGuide.
Launch the app and log in.
Expected result: Clean install resolves the issue.
Resolution
If the app is working correctly after any of the above steps, no further action is needed.
