Connecting Your ChromeBit to Wi-Fi
If your ChromeBit has lost its internet connection or needs to be connected to a new network, follow the steps below carefully.
Step 1: Reboot the ChromeBit
1. Turn on the keyboard connected to your ChromeBit.
2. Press the 'Q' key five (5) consecutive times.
3. The device will initiate a reboot.
Step 2: Access the Operating System
1. As the ChromeBit restarts, press and hold Ctrl + Alt + S.
2. Continue holding until the operating system screen appears.
Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi
1. Select your standard business Wi-Fi network.
2. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
IMPORTANT: Do not use a guest network, as it may expire and interrupt service.
Step 4: Restart the ChromeBit
1. Ignore any login prompt.
2. Click the Restart button (typically bottom-left of the screen).
Important Notice: ChromeBit Devices Are No Longer Supported
ChromeBit devices such as the ASUS Chromebit CS10 have reached the end of their recommended lifespan and are no longer supported.
You may experience slower loading, freezing, screen restarts, video glitches, or difficulty running newer promotions.
These devices can no longer receive ChromeOS updates, which may impact compatibility with newer Budvue software and features.
