This guide explains how Budvue works with your Dutchie POS — how to activate the integration and where your product information comes from.
Setting Up the Integration
To connect Budvue to your Dutchie POS:
Contact Dutchie support at support@dutchie.com and ask them to release API access for your location(s) to Budvue.
In your Dutchie POS, go to Settings → Rooms.
On the Room Type, select E-commerce room.
On the Room Accessible by Menus field, make sure Budvue is selected.
Once both steps are complete, Budvue will be able to connect to your product data automatically.
Where Does Product Information Come From?
All product details displayed on your Budvue menus are pulled directly from your Dutchie POS. That means updating a product name, brand, THC%, category, and more is as simple as updating it in Dutchie — it will automatically reflect on your Budvue menus.
When your menus are first built, let our team know which fields you'd like to use. All Budvue menus are custom-coded, so our developers need to know where to pull data from — including things like how categories should be grouped (e.g. all concentrates under one header, or split into subcategories).
From the Product Detail Page
Most of the information used for your menu comes from the Product Detail page in Dutchie:

From the Inventory Page
Budvue also has access to the Inventory page, which provides:
Batch-level THC and CBD
Cannabinoids
Terpenes
