To ensure you have the best experience with your Budvue screens, please follow these steps to install the Budvue App and enable automatic updates on you media device (BuzzTV or SignWorks).

Part 1: Install the Budvue App

  1. Set up a Google Play Account: On a computer, create a location-specific Google Play account. For simplicity, we suggest using your location's email address and town name as the password.  Please save these credentials in an accessible location.
  2. Access the Google Play Store: Using your Media Device remote, press the Home button to open the administrative panel. Navigate to and select the Google Play Store. If you are prompted to sign in, use the credentials you created in step 1.
  3. Search and Download: Navigate to the search bar and look for "Budvue". Select the application to download and then launch it.
  4. Enter Access Codes: You will be prompted to enter a unique, one-time use access code for each television upon launching the app.  You can find these codes (or generate new ones) in your Buduve Dashboard Media Devices tab.
  5. Adjust Screen (If Needed): The menus may take a few moments to load.  If you experience issues with screen orientation or aspect ratio, you can adjust them with your remote. Press the OK button to open the App Admin panel and navigate to the corressponding menu option.

Part 2: Enable Automatic Updates

We highly recommend turning on auto-updates to ensure you always have the latest app version:

  1. Open the Google Play app.
  2. In the top right, tap your Profile picture.
  3. Select Settings  >  Network Preferences  >  Auto-update apps.
  4.  Choose Update all apps over Wi-Fi.
