Clickspace TV App Update Guide - Android

Step 1: Exit the App

  1. Press the Home button on your remote.

  2. When you see “Signage will resume in…”, select Cancel.


Step 2: Open the Google Play Store

  1. Select All Apps.

  2. Open Play Store.

If You Don’t See Play Store:

  1. Open Settings (grey gear icon).

  2. Go to:
    Apps → See all apps → Show system apps

  3. Scroll down and select Google Play Store.

⚠ If the Play Store will not load, check that the device is connected to Wi-Fi.


Step 3: Sign In

  • Sign in with your Google account when prompted.

  • If not prompted, select the account icon (top-right corner) to sign in.

No Google Account?

Create one on a computer first.
✔ Use your location’s email
✔ Use your town name as the password
✔ Save the login information somewhere safe


Note: If you are unable to update the account you are signed into on the Play Store itself, follow these steps to remove:

  1. Return Home: Press the Home button on your remote.

  2. Dismiss Overlay: If a “Signage will resume in…” message appears, select Cancel.

  3. Open Settings: Select the Settings (gear) icon.

  4. Manage Accounts: Scroll down and select Accounts.

  5. Remove Account: Choose the account you wish to delete, select Remove Account, and then select it again to confirm.

  6. Repeat: If necessary, repeat the process for any other old accounts.

  7. Return to Home: Press the Back button repeatedly until you reach the main screen.

  8. Relaunch Play Store: Select All Apps, then open the Play Store.

  9. Sign In: Follow the prompts to sign in with the new account.


Step 4: Find Clickspace TV

  1. Select the Search icon (left side).

  2. Type Clickspace TV.

  3. Select the app.


Step 5: Update the App

  1. Select Update (or Update from Google Play).

  2. Wait for installation to finish.

Recommended:

On the app page:

  • Tap the three dots (top-right)

  • Enable Auto-update


Step 6: Restart the App

  1. Press Back until you return to the launcher screen.

  2. Select Launch.

The menu should load normally.
