App: BudGuide Tablet App
Task: Locate the password required to log into the BudGuide app on your tablets.
Use this article when: You are at the BudGuide login screen on a tablet and do not know the password for your location.
Do not use this article if:
You cannot log into the Budvue Dashboard (web browser) — see How To: Reset Dashboard Password
You do not have a Dashboard account at all — see How To: Request a Dashboard Login
Steps
Log into the Dashboard: On a computer or mobile browser, log into the Budvue Dashboard.
Navigate to Tablets: Click on the Tablets tab in the main navigation menu.
Locate Your Password: Your location's tablet password will be listed here.
Note: This password is set by the system and cannot be edited. It is shared by all tablets at your specific location.
Enter on Tablet: Return to your tablet and enter the password exactly as shown (it is case-sensitive).
Expected result: The tablet accepts the password and the BudGuide menu begins to load.
Resolution
If the password listed in the dashboard allows you to log in, no further action is needed.
Contact Support
If the password listed in the Dashboard is not being accepted by the tablet, email tvsupport@budvue.com with:
Store name and location
A photo of the error message showing on the tablet
