What You'll Need

  • Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

  • TV with an available HDMI port

  • Power adapter and USB cable (included with FireStick)

  • Wi-Fi network name and password

  • Access code for this screen (found in Budvue Dashboard → Devices tab)

Steps

Step 1: Connect the FireStick to Your TV

  1. Plug the Fire Stick into an HDMI port on the back of your TV.

  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet (not a USB port on the TV).

  3. Switch your TV's input to the HDMI port the FireStick is plugged into — the Amazon setup screen will appear.

Expected result: The Amazon Fire TV setup screen appears on your TV.

Step 2: Connect to Wi-Fi

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your store's Wi-Fi network. You will need your Wi-Fi network name and password.

Important: Connect to your standard business Wi-Fi — not a guest network. Guest networks can expire and interrupt your screen service.

Expected result: FireStick is connected to Wi-Fi and proceeds to the Amazon home screen.

Step 3: Download the Budvue App

  1. From the Amazon home screen, open the Amazon App Store.

  2. Search for "Budvue".

  3. Select the Budvue app and tap Download.

  4. Once installed, open the app.

Expected result: The Budvue app opens and displays a setup/access code screen.

Step 4: Enter Your Access Code

  1. Tap Next through Steps 1 and 2 of the setup wizard.

  2. On Step 3, enter the unique access code for this screen.

    • Access codes are found in the Budvue Dashboard → Devices tab.

    • Each code is single-use only. Generate a new one from the Dashboard if needed.

Expected result: The Budvue menu loads and content begins displaying.

Step 5: Adjust Screen Orientation (if needed)

If the screen appears sideways or upside-down, see FireStick: Adjust Screen Orientation.

Step 6: Enable Automatic Updates (Recommended)

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon at the top of the Fire TV home screen).

  2. Select Applications → App Store.

  3. Find Automatic Updates and turn it On.

Expected result: Budvue app updates automatically in the background.

Resolution

If the Budvue menu is displaying correctly, setup is complete.
