This guide explains how Budvue works with your Treez POS — how to set up the integration and how to manage your product information so your menus display correctly.
Setting Up the Integration
To connect Budvue to your Treez POS:
Request API credentials from Treez. Follow Treez's instructions for requesting an API key — this is something you do directly with your Treez account.
Once Treez sends you your credentials, share them with us at tvsupport@budvue.com. You'll need to provide your API Key, API URL, and Portal URL.
We'll handle the rest of the setup on our end.
Where Does Product Information Come From?
All product details displayed on your Budvue menus are pulled directly from your Treez POS. Updating a product name, brand, THC%, or category is as simple as updating it in your POS — it will automatically reflect on your Budvue menus within about 15 minutes.

How to Highlight Specific Products with Flags
Treez uses Tags in the product's Attributes section to control which products display flags on your Budvue menus (e.g., "Staff Pick", "New", "Hot", "Featured").
How to Add a Tag to a Product
Open the product in Treez.
Scroll to the Attributes section.
Find the General field.
Add your tag — for example, type Staff Pick or New. Tags are not case sensitive.
Save the product.
For step-by-step instructions with screenshots, see Treez's guide on adding tags to products.
Note: Our team needs to code the flags into your menu design before tags will display as icons on your screens. Contact us at tvsupport@budvue.com to get your flags set up.
