Device: BuzzTV / DS1 (Android)
Task: Manually adjust the display output to fix visual distortions or "No Signal" errors.
Use this article when: The picture appears blurry, stretched, pixelated, or the screen is flickering/cutting off the edges of the content.
Do not use this article if:
The screen is completely black — If you cannot see the menu at all, you may need to try a different HDMI port or cable first to regain a picture.
The issue is only with one specific video — If only one video looks poor but the menus are sharp, it is likely a content quality issue, not a resolution setting.
Steps
Press the blue Home button on your remote to exit the Budvue app and return to the main BuzzTV screen.
When the "Signage Resuming in..." countdown appears, click "Cancel" to prevent the app from relaunching immediately.
Click "All Apps", then open the grey Settings icon.
Scroll down and select "Advanced Settings".
Select "Display", then click on "Screen Resolution".
Click into "Display Mode".
Select the 1080p-60Hz option (Recommended for the best balance of clarity and stability).
Press the Back button on your remote repeatedly until you return to the main setup page.
Click the Budvue/Signage app icon to launch your content and verify the picture quality.
Expected result: The screen displays a crisp, clear image that fits the dimensions of your TV perfectly.
Resolution
If the picture is now clear and correctly sized, the adjustment was successful. If the screen remains blurry, ensure your TV’s own internal settings (Aspect Ratio/Zoom) are set to "Just Scan" or "Fit to Screen."
