Budvue Screen App - Minimum Device Specifications

Applies to: All Budvue / Clickspace TV media player devices
Task: Reference guide for checking whether a device is compatible with the Budvue app.

Use this article when: You need to confirm whether a specific device meets the requirements to run the Budvue app.


Fully Supported Devices

The following devices are officially tested and guaranteed to work with the Budvue / Clickspace TV app:

  • BuzzTV DS1

  • BuzzTV XR4500

  • Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

  • NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro

If you are using one of these devices, no compatibility check is needed.


Minimum Hardware Requirements

For devices not listed above, check that the device meets or exceeds the following:

1080p playback capability

2 GB of ram is an absolute minimum. For reasonable performance, 3 GB or more of ram is preferred

Important Notes

  • Devices running Android 8 or older are not supported.

  • Devices with less than 2 GB RAM or an outdated WebView will perform poorly.

  • Devices with custom ROMs, root access, or non-standard firmware are not supported.

  • Compatibility is not guaranteed on non-listed devices even if the minimum specs are met.
