Budvue POS Client Education - Blaze/Greenline

Created by Sherilee Foster, Modified on Mon, 6 Apr at 12:54 PM by Sherilee Foster

This guide explains how Budvue works with your Blaze or Greenline POS — how to activate the integration and where your product information comes from.

Setting Up the Integration

To connect Budvue to your Blaze or Greenline POS, you'll need to activate the integration directly in your POS:

  1. Log in to your Blaze or Greenline POS.

  2. Navigate to the Integration Page.

  3. Find the Budvue / Edgeworth Panels section.

  4. Toggle on "Activate the Integration".

Once activated, Budvue will begin receiving your product information automatically. You can also find activation instructions directly within the integration page.

Where Does Product Information Come From?

All product details displayed on your Budvue menus are pulled directly from your Blaze or Greenline POS. Updating a product name, brand, THC%, or category is as simple as updating it in your POS — it will automatically reflect on your Budvue menus.

From the Product List Page

Most of the information used for your menu comes from the Product List page:

Additional product information comes from the Details section of each product:

Note on Cannabinoids: When entering cannabinoid values in Blaze/Greenline, make sure to select the correct unit (% or mg/g). This affects how the values display on your Budvue menus — consistency across products makes for a cleaner menu.

Keeping Your Product Information Consistent

A few tips for getting the best results on your menus:

  • Use consistent naming conventions across products and categories. For example, if you use "Pre-Roll" as a category name, use it everywhere — not "Pre-Roll" in some places and "Pre-rolls" or "Joints" in others.

  • Make sure THC/CBD values are entered for all products you want displayed. Products with missing values may display blank fields on your menu.

  • Keep brand names consistent — small spelling differences can cause the same brand to appear multiple times on your menu.

How to Highlight Specific Products with Flags

Budvue makes it easy to draw attention to specific products using icons called Flags (e.g., "Sale", "Staff Pick", "Featured", "Hot").

To set up Flags on your menu, contact our team at tvsupport@budvue.com. We'll code the flags into your menu design and let you know exactly how to apply them to products in your POS.
