Device: Promo TV (Edgeworth screen, BuzzTV-powered)
Issue: Promo TV ads are displaying sideways or upside-down.
Use this article when: Your Promo TV content is rotated incorrectly — ads appear sideways or inverted.
Do not use this article if:
You have a FireStick-connected screen with the wrong orientation — see FireStick: Adjust Screen Orientation instead.
Only one or a few ads are in the wrong orientation - email tvsupport@budvue instead indicating the product name of the ad with the wrong orientation.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Admin Panel and Rotate the Screen
Press the OK button on your BuzzTV remote to open the Admin Panel.
Find the "Rotate" option and click it.
Keep clicking Rotate until the screen is in the correct orientation. You may need to click up to four times to cycle through all options.
Once the orientation looks correct, scroll to the bottom of the Admin Panel and select "Delete all files and close app".
Expected result: Screen rotates to the correct orientation.
Step 2: Restart the Device
A restart after rotating ensures the change persists:
Unplug the power cord from the wall.
Wait 30 seconds.
Plug it back in and allow the device to restart.
Expected result: Screen continues to display in the correct orientation after restarting.
Resolution
If the ads are now displaying in the correct orientation, no further action is needed.

Store name and address
Device serial number (found on the device)
Description of what you are seeing (e.g., "ads are sideways", "ads are upside down")
