Promo TV: How to Upload Custom Content

Task: Upload your own images or videos to display on your Promo TV screens via the Budvue Dashboard.

Use this article when: You want to add custom images or videos to your Promo TV playlist.


Prerequisites

Before starting, confirm:

  • You have login access to the Budvue Dashboard. If not, email tvsupport@budvue.com to request access.

  • Your file meets the requirements listed in Step 2 below.


Steps

Step 1: Log In to the Dashboard

  1. Go to dashboard.budvue.com.

  2. Log in with your credentials.

Expected result: You are logged in to the Budvue Dashboard.

Step 2: Upload Your File

  1. In the dashboard menu, click "Content Library" under the "TV" tab.

  2. Click the "Upload New" button.

  3. Select your image or video file and upload it.

File requirements — confirm your file meets these before uploading:

Expected result: File uploads successfully and appears in your Content Library.

Step 3: Configure and Schedule the Content

After uploading, click "Save" and configure the following settings:

  • Playlist — select which playlist this content belongs to

  • Start and End Dates — set the date range for the content to run

  • Days of the Week — choose which days it should appear

  • Times of Day — set the specific hours it should play

Click Save when complete.

Expected result: Content is scheduled and will appear on screen during the configured time window.

Tip: Double-check your start and end dates before saving — it is easy to accidentally set the wrong date range.


Resolution

Once saved, your content will go live on your Promo TV screens according to the schedule you set. No further action is needed.

If you are unable to upload content, or the content does not appear on screen after scheduling, email tvsupport@budvue.com with:

  • Store name and location

  • Description of the issue (e.g., upload error, content not appearing)

  • File type and size you are trying to upload
