What Is Budvue?

Budvue is a digital signage and in-store marketing platform built specifically for cannabis retailers. It connects directly to your point-of-sale (POS) system and automatically keeps your screens up to date — so your customers always see accurate products, prices, and promotions without any manual work.

Whether you're displaying a Promo TV in your lobby, a Smart Tag menu at the counter, or a BudGuide tablet in a patient consultation area, Budvue pulls live inventory data from your POS and presents it in a clean, branded format designed for retail.

What's Included with Budvue?

Depending on your subscription, you may have access to some or all of the following:

Smart Tag Menus	Dynamic shelf menus that update automatically based on your live POS inventory.
Smart Ads	Automated brand advertisements that display alongside your menus, generating additional revenue.
BudGuide	A budtender-facing tablet app that gives your staff instant access to your full product catalogue.
Dashboard	A web-based control centre where you build menus, schedule promotions, manage products, and view analytics.

How Does It Work?

Budvue has three main components that work together:

Step 1 Your POS System

Your point-of-sale (e.g. Dutchie, FlowHub, Cova) holds your product catalogue — names, prices, stock levels, descriptions, and more.

Step 2 The Budvue Dashboard

You log in to your web dashboard to build menus, apply Smart Tags, schedule promotions, and manage what shows on your screens.

Step 3 Your In-Store Screens

Budvue-powered devices (BuzzTV, FireStick, or compatible hardware) display your menus and ads in store, updating automatically as your inventory changes.

A compatible media player device connected to each screen (see: Budvue Compatible Hardware)
An active internet connection at your store
A POS system that integrates with Budvue
Your Budvue Dashboard login credentials
