Task: Restart an Amazon Fire TV Stick through the device settings.
Platform: Amazon FireStick / Fire TV
Use this article when: The Budvue app is frozen, the screen is black, or you need to reboot the device to refresh your signage loop or push through an update.

Restart via On-Screen Settings
1. Return to the Home Screen
Press the Home button on your FireStick remote to go to the main Fire TV home screen.
2. Open Settings
Navigate to the Settings icon (or click the Three-Bar / Hamburger Menu in the top-left corner).
3. Select Device Options
Scroll over and select My Fire TV (or Device & Software on some FireOS versions).
4. Confirm Restart
Select Restart, then click Restart again to confirm
Resolution
Once the device finishes rebooting, the Budvue app will automatically launch and load your scheduled menu loop within 1–2 minutes.

If the FireStick remains stuck on the Amazon logo, displays a black screen after rebooting, or fails to open the Budvue app, email tvsupport@budvue.com with:
Store name and location.
Name of the TV display/playlist experiencing the issue.
A photo or description of what is displayed on the screen.
A photo of the admin panel of the Budvue app.
