Device: Amazon FireStick / Fire TV
Issue: The screen is showing a "Digital Signage Set Up" message and requesting an access code.
Use this article when: Your FireStick screen is showing the Budvue setup screen and prompting you to enter an access code.
Do not use this article if:
You have a BuzzTV or DS1 device — see BuzzTV / DS1: "Digital Signage Set Up" Message instead.
What This Means
This screen means your FireStick is waiting for an access code to connect to Budvue. This appears when the app is newly installed, or when the previous access code has been used and a new one is required.
Steps
Step 1: Locate Your Access Code
Check your email for a message from Budvue Support — your unique access code will be in that email.
Important: Access codes are single-use only. If you have already used the code and are seeing this message again, you need a new one.
Expected result: You have an unused access code ready to enter.
Step 2: Generate a New Code (if needed)
If your original code has already been used, or you cannot find the email:
Log in to your Budvue Dashboard.
Go to the Devices tab.
Find your device and select Generate new access code.
Enter the new code on the setup screen.
If you do not have access to the Dashboard, email tvsupport@budvue.com with your store name and which screen you are setting up — we will send you a new code.
Expected result: A new access code is generated and entered successfully.
Step 3: Enter the Code
Enter the access code when prompted on the setup screen.
Expected result: The Budvue menu loads and content begins displaying.
Resolution
If the Budvue menu appears after entering the code, setup is complete.
Contact Support
