What This Means
This issue means the device's home launcher has been set to the default Android launcher instead of Clickspace Kiosk. It is usually caused by an accidental button press. It is fixable without any technical background.
Method 1: Quick Fix (Try This First)
Point the remote at the device and press the blue Home button.
Look at the bottom of the screen — a small white selection box should appear.
If the white box appears, use the remote to select "Clickspace Kiosk".
When prompted, choose "Always" (not "Just once").
Expected result: The Budvue menu appears and the Android home screen does not return.
If the white box did not appear, proceed to Method 2.
Method 2: USB Mouse Method (If Method 1 Did Not Work)
You will need: A USB mouse.
Plug a USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the back of the device.
Move the cursor to the very bottom of the screen and slowly drag it upward to open the app drawer.
Find and click the grey Settings icon (grey, not green).
Go to Apps → See all apps → Show system apps.
Scroll down and find "Launcher3" (small white house icon).
Click "Clear Defaults", then confirm with OK.
Press the Back button on the remote (or right-click with the mouse) until you are back at the Android home screen.
Press the blue Home button on the remote.
A white selection box will appear — select "Use Clickspace Kiosk as Home".
Choose "Always".
Expected result: The Budvue menu appears and Clickspace Kiosk is set as the permanent launcher.
Resolution
If the Budvue menu is now displaying, no further action is needed.
